Try This Delicious Mushroom Bonda Recipe in Just 10 Simple Steps

Try this crispy and mouth-watering Mushroom Bonda recipe for an evening snack.

Ingredients:

To prepare Anand, you will need these ingredients – 3 cups button mushroom, 1/4th cup maida flour, 1/4th cup corn flour, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 tablespoon garam masala powder, boiled potatoes, 1 tablespoon ginger. Garlic paste, 1 chopped onion, salt as per your taste and refined oil.

Preparation:

Step 1: Mix maida and corn flour by adding water a little at a time and stir well until the lumps are completely dissolved. Add roasted chickpea flour, little cumin seeds, plain flour, red chili powder, and hing (asafoetida) and mix everything well. Make a soft batter out of it and keep it aside.

Step 2: Cut the mushroom in half and wash it thoroughly in lukewarm water.

Step 3: Take a pan, add chopped onions and green chillies and saute until golden brown.

Step 4: Add ginger garlic paste to the mixture and mix everything well.

Step 5: Add all the spices i.e. black pepper, turmeric and salt and mix it well till everything is cooked well.

Step 6: Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and add them to the pan. Mix everything well and let it cook for a while.

Step 7: Add some boiled mashed potatoes to the mixture and mix well with a strong hand and your mushroom mixture is ready.

Step 8: Make small balls of the mushroom mixture and dip them in the batter we prepared earlier.

Step 9: Heat oil and fry the coated mushroom balls until golden brown.

Step 10: Your mushroom bonda is ready! Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
